Marianne Speakman

Marianne Speakman has over 35 years of experience in the insurance industry. She served on the Board of Directors for the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of New Jersey for 15 years and was elected as the Chairperson for the Board of Directors in October 2013. Marianne obtained her Accredited Advisor of Insurance “AAI” certification in June 2013. This certification demonstrates her willingness to expand her in-depth insurance knowledge with a strong focus on customer service. Marianne’s goal is to help her clients make important decisions about choosing insurance, customizing a plan to meet their unique needs, and providing ongoing support as their needs change.

Born and raised in New Jersey, Marianne is very active in the community. Marianne served as President for The Arc of Middlesex County, NJ and served on the board for six years. Marianne also worked to generate funding for the Korean War Memorial. She serves on the Board of Directors of “With Eddie’s Help”, a New Jersey Nonprofit corporation established in honor of Edward (Eddie) T. Strauss who lost his life during the tragic events of September 11, 2001.

Marianne started in the insurance industry right after High School as a part-time position. Eventually, she came to understand the meaning of insurance and how it can be a powerful tool to help those in need. She takes pride in being able to add to the financial protection of others.

Marianne has excelled in the insurance industry over the past 35 years, holding positions in marketing as well as management in the Commercial and Personal Lines departments for independent insurance agencies. The Speakman Agency is her long time dream as she is now able to truly help others to easily find the financial protection they need from someone they can trust, who will be there for them no matter what.
